What many folks don’t know is over the years the founding family members would grow a highly coveted crop on a small field of meticulously cultivated earth apart from the main farm in Nicaragua. These filler and binder leaves were carefully fermented and aged and matched to a dark, oily sun-grown USA Grown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

Needless to say, these perfectly made, extremely special sticks were immensely enjoyed by family, close friends, and associates. As time passed, they would release extremely small quantities to cruelly tease the public which was immediately sold out. As various growing and cultivation techniques were improved these amazing sticks began showing up more frequently while still remaining somewhat elusive. This is a richly complex medium to full-bodied cigar combining sweetness and spice in a way that discerning smokers have marveled at. If you’re an Oliva fan and haven’t tried them…shame on you.
